Your Responsibilities

• Work on B2B server-to-server API solutions with Bank-Side partners as well as “traditional” Rest-APIs and services
• Consolidate and extend an existing Django and Golang codebase to allow for higher productivity and reliability
• Accelerate us on our path to a more loosely coupled system architecture
• Explore the problem-space collaboratively in a cross-functional team to deliver high value to end-users
• Create technical plans, architectures and extension of our domain designs for the projects you take part in
• Plan small, individually shippable changes in a continuous delivery environment
• Embrace and extend our developer-focused automated testing
• Help break down organisational silos and empower technical peers to contribute with a high degree of end2end ownership
• Assist your colleagues with their growth and performance by reviewing their work, pair-programming, giving actionable advice and feedback

Your Profile

• You enjoy solving customer problems
• You have been hands-on 5+ in modern software teams and with multiple programming languages, ideally both python and Golang
• You have a positively opinionated but open mindset and a bias towards action
• You successfully designed significant parts of production software systems
• You worked actively on refactoring and developing service-oriented systems
• You enjoy planning and breaking down problems into small parts
• You are experienced with Unit- and Integration-Testing. Bonus: Gherkin
• You enjoy thinking about problems and deeply care about simplicity and understanding
• You can express yourself and your ideas effectively to technical and non-technical team-members
• You are motivated by carrying responsibility for your work and the outcomes we achieve together
• You command English level B2 or higher

• Mostly github-based CI
• Unit-Tests & integration-/API-Tests (Gherkin-based)

• “Maker Time” - engineers don’t have too many meetings
